The two men convicted of the murder of Aberdeen oil worker Steven Donaldson have launched a bid for freedom.
According to The Courier, legal papers confirming a notice of intention to appeal have been lodged for Steven Dickie and Callum Davidson.
The pair were jailed for life at the High Court in Edinburgh following a lengthy trial.
Mr Donaldson’s body was discovered in the car park at Kinnordy Nature Reserve near Kirriemuir, Angus, in the early hours of June 7 last year.
