Shocking footage has emerged of violence erupting at a Fife caravan site.
A video posted on Facebook shows a silver Audi car being battered with a baseball bat and set on fire.
At one point a machete blade comes into view.
At one stage in the video, which can be seen on The Courier, a man filming the ruined Audi is heard saying: “There you go. This is what happens”.
The footage is believed to have been taken at a travellers’ site in Balbeggie Avenue, north of Kirkcaldy, where police are investigating a mass brawl involving around 20 people.
Trouble broke out at around 8pm on Friday, with the disturbance in Balbeggie Avenue taking place within minutes of a road rage incident at the Redhouse Roundabout and a car crash in Thornton, after which a group of armed men fled the scene.
Specialist police units including dog handlers and a helicopter were deployed as violence escalated.
At the Redhouse Roundabout, a silver Audi A4 and a silver Honda Civic were said to have deliberately rammed into each other.

It is not known if the Audi set on fire in the footage was the one involved in the incident at the roundabout.
Shortly afterwards, groups clashed at Balbeggie Avenue.
Meanwhile, in Main Street, Thornton, a silver BMW was involved in a collision with a silver Hyundai car near the junction with Riverside.
A number of men, believed to have weapons including a baseball bat, fled the scene across fields in the direction of the A92.
Police Scotland has urged witnesses, in particular those with dash cam footage, to contact them urgently on 101, quoting incident number 3629 of July 20, or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Detective Chief Inspector John Anderson from Glenrothes Police Station said: “This was a large scale disturbance involving a number of individuals who we believe to be known to each other.”
