Fire crews were called to Ballachulish yesterday after a building full of woodchips caught fire.
The building used for storing the fuel was alight when crews arrived. No-one was inside when the fire took hold.
A fire service spokeswoman said: “We got the call at 1.48pm about a fire in a commercial premises near Ballachulish Bridge. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. We had two appliances from Fort William, one from Fort Augustus and one from Oban.
“They were later involved in dampening down using two main jets, a ground monitor and a hose reel jet.”
