Fort William is preparing to pull out all the stops for the Lochaber town’s first big cruise liner visit since its new pontoons were built.
A wide range of entertainment and activities is being laid on for Boudicca passengers that chose to stay in the town on Wednesday.
It is also hoped that those who chose to go on excursions will have time to explore the local area on their return.
There will be a piper at the entrance to the West End Car Park to welcome visitors to Fort William.
An illustrated presentation, called Fort William Then and Now, has been arranged by Ian Abernethy and Bill Cameron at the West End Hotel from 10.30am until noon.
A Model T Ford will be in Cameron Square to mark Henry Alexander’s epic ascent of Ben Nevis in 1911 and a five-minute news clip from that time will be showing at The West Highland Museum.
At 10.30am, Lochaber Geopark will be giving a talk about the area.
The RSCDS Scottish country dancing team will be giving demonstrations at noon and there will be an opportunity to join in.
And The Highlanders will be singing a variety of Scottish songs between 1pm and 3pm.
All events are open to both locals and visitors.
The Boudicca is due to leave at about 4pm.
