Police in Lochaber are appealing for witnesses to an accident on the A82 Fort William to Glasgow road and two incidents in which parked cars were damaged.

A police spokeswoman said the crash to the south of Kings House Hotel at Glencoe on Monday September 26 involved a silver Mercedes CLA220 and a red Toyota Yaris.

She added that they were keen to hear from anyone who saw the crash or the manner in which these vehicles were being driven.

Damage was caused to a vehicle parked on Park Road, Kinlochleven, at around 2am on Friday September 30.

The spokeswoman said: “Police would like to identify a person seen in the close vicinity described as medium build, with dark hair worn in a short pony tail and wearing a dark parka style jacket.”

She added that a black Ford Focus parked on Moss Road, Caol, sustained damage to one side between 4pm on Friday September 23 and noon the following day.

Anyone with any information about any of these incidents is urged to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org
