Emergency services dealt with a two-vehicle collision on the A862 between Beauly and Kirkhill today.
The incident, which occurred at 11.36am, involved a lorry and a van. Police said there were no initial reports of casualties and the road was partially blocked for a few hours.
Fire crews were in attendance in order to stabilise what they describe as 7.5 ton vehicle at the request of police.
The road re-opened just before 2pm.
