A missing 27-year-old man was found safe and well after a major search in the Outer Hebrides today.
The man, who has not been named, was reported missing to police at Stornoway on the Isle of Lewis at 6.40am.
A full scale search involving coastguards and police centred on Stornoway’s Castle Grounds.
But a police spokesman said he was located at an address shortly before 5pm and was “safe and well.”
