Police have released an image of Highland League footballer Richard Finnis’ car in a bid to trace the missing man.
The move comes as police seek to piece together the movements of the 30-year-old between his last sighting one week ago, and the discovery of his vehicle on Monday evening.
Officers are seeking to jog the memory of anyone who possibly saw the car last weekend and have encouraged anyone with any potential information to come forward, but maintain that the missing 30-year-old should not be approached by members of the public.
Mr Finnis’ car was last seen in the Kinmylies Way area on of Inverness Saturday, February 16, on the same afternoon the Strathspey Thistle footballer was seen.
The blue Citroen C3, bearing the registration plate SD18 WKE, was later traced on Monday evening in a parking area east of Cannich.

Detective Inspector Eddie Ross said: “We continue to work to establish the movements of the car from when he was last seen in Inverness and the vehicle being located.
“We also remain keen to speak to anybody who have seen a man matching Richard’s description walking around the Cannich, Glen Affric or Beauly areas at any time since last weekend
“We continue to ask members of the public not to approach Richard if you believe you have seen him but to contact police in the first instance.”
The releasing of the image comes as officers are set to revisit the Glen Affric area today in a bid to trace the missing man, a week on from his disappearance.
Searches have honed in on the area since the discovery of his car, with a number of specialist resources deployed, including highly trained police officers and search dogs, as well assistance from the Coastguard search and rescue helicopter on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Finnis is described as being around 5ft 10in tall, of medium build, with dark coloured hair and blue eyes.
Officers are keen to hear from anybody who may have spotted a man of this description or age in the Cannich, Beauly or Glen Affric areas.
