Firefighters have successfully extinguished a wildfire which engulfed in the Highlands.
The blaze broke out close to the rear of the Back Park in Embo shortly after 1pm this afternoon.
Four appliances from Dornoch, Tain, Golspie and Lairg were called to the scene after the alarm was raised at 1.4pm to try and bring the fire under control.
Teams remained at the scene for several hours using a hose reel jet and beaters to dampen down the flames.
Crews left the scene shortly after 5pm.
