A senior pupil at a Highland secondary school has tested positive for coronavirus.
A letter has been sent to parents and carers of children at Culloden Academy informing them of the confirmed case.
The pupil was last at school on Tuesday and contract tracing has begun.
The school will be open as normal for pupils and staff on Friday but anyone identified as a close contact will have to self-isolate at home for 14 days. They can return to school after the October holidays.
Culloden Academy is the fourth school in the Highlands in the past month to confirm a case of Covid-19.
