Police are concerned for the welfare of a man missing from his home in the Western Isles.
Duncan Macleod, from the Baymore area on North Uist, was reported missing earlier today.
There is no definite information when the 52-year-old was last seen, however, he was last spoken to on Wednesday evening.
Concern for his wellbeing is now growing as it is “out of character” for him to be out of contact for so long.
Officers have now launched an appeal to the public to try trace Mr Macleod and are asking anyone who might have seen him to get in touch.
He has been described as 5ft 8ins and with greying hair.
People with further information about his whereabouts are urged to call 101, quoting reference 1261 of November 14.
