Car runs down embankment after A9 crash

A car and a lorry have collided on the A9 in the Highlands.

The accident, near Newtonmore, happened just after 10am this morning.

The car, with two people inside, left the road and went down an embankment, while the lorry also left the road.

One person, understood to be one of the car’s occupants, has sustained minor injuries.

The driver of the lorry was uninjured.
