Skye is certainly not the limit when it comes to films.
Scenes for the new Transformers movie are the latest in a number of Hollywood blockbusters to be shot on the Isle of Skye.
Car parks at beauty spots such as the Quiraing were closed yesterday and on Monday for a film crew.
Islanders have been told that the production is Transformers: The Last Knight.
To be released in cinemas next June, it stars Laura Haddock, Sir Anthony Hopkins and Mark Wahlberg.
It has been suggested the fifth outing of the franchise about giant battling robots has a connection to the legend of King Arthur.
On Skye, actors have been seen wearing medieval garb and riding horses.
Car parks and also areas of land at the Quiraing and The Storr on the Trotternish Peninsula were closed to the public for filming.
Lealt Quarry is also thought to be being used by the film crew, and a helicopter has been seen flying over that location with a camera attached.
Highland Council has confirmed temporary road closures on a five mile section of the Brogaig to Idrigill Road and suspension of access rights around The Old Man of Storr and Trottenish ridge.
The council would not give details of the filming that was taking place, but confirmed the closures were for a shoot. Locals will be allowed through when there are breaks in shooting.
Filming also took place along the same road in May, but that was for a car advert.
In recent years the island has provided the backdrop for a number of film and TV productions – most recently the Disney adaptation of Roald Dahl’s BFG, which was directed by Steven Spielberg.
Scenes for Macbeth, which stars Michael Fassbender, were shot in Trotternish, while the Old Man of Storr was used in Ridley Scott’s Alien prequel Prometheu. Keanu Reeves 2013 film 47 Ronin had scenes shot near Neist Point, and the landscapes of Skye and Wester Ross also had big screen exposure on Stardust, which featured Michelle Pfeiffer and Robert De Niro.
