A stretch of the A9 was blocked for several hours this morning due to a jack-knifed lorry.
The southbound carriage was closed to traffic on the route two miles south of Newtonmore from around 8.30am.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “The southbound carriageway of the A9 was blocked approximately two miles south of Newtonmore due to a jack-knifed lorry.
“Delays may be encountered until recovery is complete – thanks for your patience.”
Police later put out an update stating the road had been cleared at 12.15pm.
