A stretch of the north’s busiest road has been closed in both directions this morning after a crash involving a large goods vehicle.
Police were called to the scene on the A9 near Slochd summit shortly after 6am.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police Scotland are in attendance at a one vehicle accident involving a large goods vehicle on the A9 near the Slochd summit.”
They added: “Drivers are asked to take care in the area as road conditions are poor. Further updates will be provided in due course.”
UPDATE: The road has now reopened.
