Connel Bridge near Oban was closed for several hours today after a lorry got stuck as it attempted to cross it.
It is understood that no-one was injured when the large DFDS lorry became trapped as it entered the bridge on the Oban side.
A police spokeswoman said: “Police were called to a report of a lorry that became stuck on the Connel Bridge on the A828 Connel to Ballachulish road. The road was closed in both directions. It reopened at 5pm.”
