Dozens of schools are closed in the Highlands today after the region was hit with heavy snow overnight.
By 8.30am, 34 schools and 20 nurseries had already said they would close because of the conditions, affecting nearly 2,000 pupils and children.
The Met Office has a yellow warning in place for snow and ice across much of the north and north-east of Scotland until midday, although Aberdeen is expected to miss the worst of it.
Police are also warning drivers to be cautious on the roads this morning because of the icy conditions.
Cromarty Primary remains closed due to flooding caused by a burst pipe on Friday.
