Rapper Professor Green leads the latest wave of artists announced for Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2018.

The family-friendly festival takes place in the Highland surroundings of Belladrum Estate, near Beauly from August 2-4.

Professor Green has had four top 10 singles including the smash number 1 hit “Read All About It” featuring Emeli Sande.

He is the latest performer to be announced along with Fickle Friends, Hunter and the Bear and many more.

Joe Gibbs, Belladrum promoter, said: “Just when you thought it was safe to go out and we’d announced all our line-up, here we are with another bunch of beauties. We are really excited to have Professor Green headlining the Hothouse Stage on the Saturday night on his first appearance at Bella. The rest of the artists announced are the icing on what is shaping up to be the most delicious Bella cake ever.”

These artists join previously announced Friday night headliner, Brit award winning Paloma Faith, iconic Scottish band Primal Scream and Thursday night headliner Amy MacDonald.

Many more acts including line ups for the Trailer Trash, Ice House, and Free-Range Folk Stage amongst many others, are still to be announced in the coming weeks and months.

Saturday only and two-day tickets, along with campervan tickets, are now sold out.

Belladrum was voted Trip Advisor’s most popular UK festival in 2017.

Following the tradition of a fancy dress theme at the event “Bollywood” will be the 2018 theme.

Bella’s lead charitable cause for a second year running is its local shinty club’s bid to build a new pavilion.
