Two fire crews were in attendance at a dwelling fire in Wick on Monday.
Reports of a mattress on fire were received by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service at 11:56am with two appliances dispatched from Wick.
The fire crews were reported to be on scene at 12:03pm.
Two firefighters entered the property wearing breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service reported that the fire had been put out at 12:17pm.
The fire crews remained in attendance to vent the property.
