A fire has broken out at a home in Alness with the fire service sending two appliances.
The fire started and appears to have been contained at a bedroom in the Shillinghill property, just five minutes from the town centre.
The fire service was paged at 10.17am and deployed a crew armed with two breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets.
The operation to control the fire lasted until 10.55am.
Crews remained at the scene to make sure the fire did not reignite and the property was safe.
