The A99 road near Wick was closed earlier today as police dealt with a road traffic collision.
The incident occurred around 10.50am near to Hempriggs and involved two cars and a stationary marked police vehicle.
A road closure took place as the incident was dealt with, with the A99 south of Wick reopening shortly after 2.20pm.

A police spokesman said: “Nobody is believed to have been seriously injured.
“The police vehicle was engaged in assisting with the movement of an abnormal load and as such the road was closed while officers responded to the road traffic collision.
“The road reopened around 2.20pm after all three vehicles were recovered.
“A 65-year-old woman has been charged with a road traffic offence in connection with the incident.”
