Police and coastguard teams are carrying out a search for a missing person at Kessock Bridge this evening.
The coastguard were called to the bridge north of Inverness at 6.20pm by police following concerns for the missing individual.
Kessock lifeboat and a Coastguard search and rescue helicopter are currently in attendance.
The search is currently still active.
A police spokeswoman said: “We are currently carrying out a multi-agency operation.”
UPDATE: The young girl the emergency services were looking for was found safe and sound shortly after 8.10pm.
She was located by the coastguard.
