The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for snow and ice this weekend.
The first snow of the winter is expected to hit the north of Scotland on Saturday and Sunday with potential blizzards developing.

The snow may turn to freezing rain above 200-300 metres leading to widespread ice developing on Saturday night.
The Met office is warning commuters to possible traffic delays and cancellations to rail and air travel.
