Hospital patients young and old enjoyed some Easter joy thanks to a convoy of bikers.
More than 100 motorcyclists took a tour of Loch Ness yesterday, and each donated a chocolate egg to go to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.
Emma Hall, chairwoman of the Highland Classic Motorcycle Club, said: “It was a fantastic day, with a great turnout. We lost count at 108.
“The event has been running for 15 years and has a great support.
“The bikers all turn up with an Easter egg, then take a lovely scenic tour around Loch Ness before returning to deliver their eggs to patients at Raigmore Hospital.
“We try to make as many wards as we can.”

Kids on the children’s ward were thrilled to hear the motorbikes turn up at the hospital and see the leather-clad riders and companions hand out their surprises.
One on a Harley Davidson had his dog as a companion.
The event attracted all ages, from young riders to those in their 70s.
Ms Hall said: “We have people from all over the area coming to the event to support the Easter Egg run.
“It is really well supported.”
There were a number of other Easter activities across the north, including Easter egg hunts in Inverness and at Brodie Castle.
Hundreds of families also made their way to beaches, including Morlich near Aviemore and Rosemarkie, to take advantage of the warm temperatures, which hit around 20C in some parts.
