A female driver was freed from a van after crashing on the A9 this morning.
The incident, involving a van, happened at around 5.45am at Latheronwheel in Caithness.

The road was partially blocked for up to an hour as fire crews used cutting equipment to free the driver, who sustained minor injuries.
A police spokesman said: “We were alerted at 5.45am to a one vehicle accident on the A9at Latheron.
“The vehicle went down an embankment and landed on its side.
“The driver was taken to Caithness General Hospital, although her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
A spokeswoman for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, said: “Three appliances attended and we assisting removing the casualty and handed her over to the Scottish Ambulance Service.”
