Police search efforts over the course of the weekend proved to be a success after a missing 15-year-old girl from Laggan in the Highlands was traced “safe and well”.
Lily Lenney had been reported missing from her home since Friday afternoon, with concerns raised regarding her whereabouts, however, a police spokesman confirmed she was traced “safe and well” yesterday morning.
It had been believed that Miss Lenney would be with friends in Aviemore.

The spokesman said: “Lily Lenney was traced safe and well on Saturday June 1 around 10.30am.
“The public are thanked for their assistance.”
