Police are appealing for information after two businesses in Fort Augustus were broken into overnight.
The Boathouse Restaurant and Cruise Loch Ness ticket office were targeted and a low four-figure sum of money was stolen.
It happened sometime between Sunday, July 14 and Monday, July 15.
DC Graeme Johnstone said: “We are appealing to anyone with information to contact us on 101, using reference number NN4708/19. Crimestoppers can also be contacted on 0800 555 111.
“I would also remind all business owners to be viglant, secure premises at night and not to keep money on the premises. If you see anything suspicious please report this to police on 101.”
