Police are appealing to the public for help following break-ins at two business premises near Beauly.
The incidents are believed to have happened sometime between 3.15am and 3.45am on Sunday in the Balblair area.
Nothing was stolen from either business, though entry was forced and there were signs of disturbance at both premises, police said.
Detective Sergeant Michael Cosh said: “Our investigation into these incidents are ongoing and I would ask anyone who may be able to assist us to come forward.
“We have established that a dark coloured estate car was seen in the area around the time of these break-ins so would urge anyone with private CCTV or anyone else who was on the roads in the Beauly area, such as taxi drivers, who may have dashcam footage to review this and let us know if you see anything of note.
“I would also remind all business owners to be vigilant against any suspicious activity near their properties and if you see anything which concerns you please report this to police as promptly as possible.
“Anyone with information relating to these recent incidents can call 101, quoting reference NN4863/19, or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
