Seven men from the Highlands and islands will be reported in connection with alleged drink-driving offences.
The men were allegedly detected in Kirkwall, Alness, Inverness, Nairn and Fort William over the weekend.
A 39-year-old is expected to appear at Kirkwall Sheriff Court today, while a 20-year-old man will also appear at Tain Sheriff Court.
The others – aged 37, 31, 29, 24 and 17 – will all be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Sergeant David Miller, of Police Scotland’s Roads Policing Unit, said: “Anyone with concerns about a suspected drink or drug driver is urged to contact 101 or 999 in an emergency. You can also pass on concerns anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
