Police have released new CCTV images in an appeal to trace Paul Connolly who has now been missing for two months.
Inquires have established the last confirmed sighting of him was on two days earlier on November 27 near Rothesay Academy.
Paul is described as white, around 5ft 8in with short dark-coloured hair. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.
Officers have today released CCTV images of Paul in the area around the time he disappeared.
In a statement Paul’s family said: “It has now been nine weeks since our brother Paul was last seen. Myself and my family are still so worried and desperate to find him.
“Please, if anyone has seen or heard anything please come forward. This is a desperate plea to get Paul home, any help or information will be greatly appreciated.”
Chief Inspector Douglas Wilson said: “I would like to thank members of the public and media who have assisted officers so far in the search for Paul. Officers are still conducting searches of the local and wider areas.
“Unfortunately it has now been eight weeks since Paul was reported missing and we remain concerned for his welfare.
“Today we have issued CCTV images of Paul in the hope that this will help to jog the memories of anyone who may have seen him.
“Paul has links to the Inverness area and I would appeal to anyone who may have seen in that area to let us know and Paul if you are reading this please let us know you are safe and well.”
