The 16th Fort William Mountain Festival celebrated everything the great outdoors has to offer.
And it culminated in an awards ceremony on Saturday night, recognising those people who have have made a significant contribution to mountain culture.
The award for Scottish landscape photographer of the year went to Glasgow-based Colin Prior.
He was nominated by the public and his peers as a mountain hero who celebrates achievement, accomplishment and the spirit of adventure.
Scottish climbing instructor Tim Miller, 23, won the Youth Mountain Culture Award.
Rod Pashley, chairman of the Highland Mountain Culture Association, organisers of the festival, said: “Celebrating the wild landscape that surrounds us in Fort William and Lochaber is the inspiration behind the mountain festival.
“The mountains, glens, rivers and coastline influence our culture in many ways, whether it is the beauty of the landscape, our engagement with it or the opportunities we find in it.
“The Fort William Mountain Festival has something for everyone with a love for the outdoors.”
The event is presented in association with the Nevis Landscape Partnership, Heritage Lottery Fund, The Outdoor Capital of the UK and Highland Council.
