A charity auction is giving bidders the chance to stay at one of Scotland’s most iconic landmarks.
A three-night stay in a private apartment at Eilean Donan Castle is just one of the top prizes up for grabs in the fundraiser in aid of Marie Curie.
Volunteers have organised the auction to help the charity recoup some of the losses they have suffered as a result of coronavirus, with lockdown resulting in many fundraising activities being axed.
Marie Curie patrons Emma Mackenzie and Claire Macdonald masterminded the eventalongside Inverness supporters Elaine Pope, Kareen McHardy and Paula Dick.
Bidders will have until July 10 to claim their stake, with all proceeds generated being donated to support the charity’s nursing services.
Ms Mackenzie said: “We have been overwhelmed with a truly wonderful array of amazing and diverse lots for both a local and UK wide audience. Whether it’s a stay at our iconic Eilean Donan Castle, Whelprigg House in Cumbria or a cottage in the middle of nowhere, there really is something for everyone.”
Other prizes include an overnight stay at the Applecross Inn, a guided tour of Armadale Castle Garden with lunch at Kinloch Lodge, a two night stay at The Priority Hotel in Beauly and two consecutive days of salmon fishing on the River Avon.
