Oban lifeboat tasked to assist yacht suffering engine failure in Sound of Mull

Oban lifeboat has this afternoon been tasked to assist a yacht which has encountered engine problems in the Sound of Mull.

The incident was reported to the coastguard at 12.30pm this afternoon with the yacht assisted by a passing vessel.

Oban lifeboat has been launched to take over towing duties with the yacht expected to be taken into Oban harbour.
