One person has been taken to hospital following a crash on a major road.
UPDATE:
The A9 is closed in both direction south of Aviemore following the accident at the A95 junction.
Emergency services were called out just after 4pm and remain on the scene.

A police spokeswoman said: “Around 4pm, police received a report of a road crash on the A9 at the junction of A95 near Aviemore, one person has been injured and emergency services remain on the scene. The road has been closed.”
A spokeswoman for the fire service added: “We were called out to the incident at 4.21pm and we initially had two appliances on scene.
“We received the stop message at 4.58pm and one appliance is still there just now.”
Drivers are being asked to take alternative routes as traffic is building on approach.
