A section of a major Highland road has been closed after two vehicles collided.
The crash between a lorry and a van happened on the A82 Inverness to Fort William road at Stronaba, near Spean Bridge, around 5.30pm.
Four fire crews from Spean Bridge, Fort Augustus and Fort William were sent to the scene.

The road has been closed whilst emergency services attend.
No information is yet available relating to any injuries.
A police spokeswoman said: “We received reports of a road traffic crash involving a lorry and a van around 5.25pm today on the A82 near the junction of Corriegour Road, two-miles north of Stronaba. ”
The spokeswoman said the full extent of injuries is not yet known, however, she did say the incident is “serious”.
Traffic Scotland have reported that the road is likely to be closed for some time with a diversion put in place.
The 154-mile detour involves diverting via Inverness before heading along the A9 as far south as Kingussie, before joining the A86 Kingussie to Spean Bridge road.
Fire crews have since departed the scene with a fire extinguisher, stabilising blocks and portable lighting in use.
Local councillor Allan Henderson said he was sorry to learn of the incident.
He said: “It is never good when we learn of incidents like this on our roads.
“It does highlight the fragility of our roadwork the distances people have to go for bypasses.
“Every time we hear about somebody being hurt it is a family or a community that is hurt as well. It is more than just a numbers game in a road traffic accident and this is why we, as local councillors, have been pressing to get upgrades on the A82 because of its difficult engineering and the narrowness of the carriageway.
“My thoughts are very much with everyone involved in this incident and the emergency services who responded.”
The road reopened at 2.51am.
