A notorious west Highland road has been closed because of drifting snow.
Highland Council has shut the Bealach na Ba, which leads to Applecross, because it is impassable.
A spokeswoman said: “The council has taken the decision to close the road for public safety – until further notice – due to existing drifting and the forecast of more snow.
“The route is currently impassable by car. Based on weather forecasts, it is unlikely the road will be opened before Monday.”
