Coastguard and lifeboat teams have launched a search of the Loch Linnhe and Loch Eil areas after reports of a boat in difficulties.
Stornoway Coastguard received a call from a person stating that they needed help.
The Coastguard helicopter and Oban Lifeboat crew are heading to the scene, however it is not known exactly where the vessel is at this time.
