An elderly pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle on Tain High Street.
The street is currently closed while emergency services deal with the incident, which happened at around 12.20pm.
A police spokeswoman said: “The High Street is presently closed following a collision between a vehicle and an elderly pedestrian.
“The pedestrian is being treated by the ambulance service for a leg injury.
“It is likely they will be transferred to hospital.”
