
A busy main road on Skye has been blocked after a two car accident.
One person has been taken to hospital following the accident, which happened two miles north of Luib on the A87 Broadford to Portree road.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said that the adult casualty had been taken to hospital in Broadford and described their condition as “stable”.
Their injuries are not thought to be serious.
However, road has been blocked since 9.30am when the accident happened as the cars are blocking the road.
A police spokesman said that recovery had been arranged to remove the vehicles.
