PICTURES & VIDEO: Massive fire destroys part of Highland factory

The A862 was reduced to one lane due to an ongoing fire at the Wyndhill Industrial Estate this morning (February 12).

A section of the road was closed for access to the area by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service as they battled flames tdestroyed part of the Tarradale Game factory in Muir of Ord.

Four crews attended the scene, from Beauly, Dingwall and two from Inverness.

The A862 has now fully re-opened.

A police spokesman said: “Thanks to everyone for their patience whilst emergency services were in attendance.
