The bodies of a man and a woman have been found on the slopes of Ben Nevis.
It comes after Rachel Slater and Tim Newton were reported missing last month.
Police have confirmed they were alerted by a member of the public this evening.
Officers are currently waiting for the bodies to be formally identified but both families have now been informed.
