Drivers are facing delays after a bus broke down on the Kessock Bridge in Inverness.
The Stagecoach-operated X99 was due to arrive at Inverness at 12.43pm but broke down on the southbound carriageway of the bridge on the A9 Inverness to Thurso road.
A spokesman for Stagecoach said: “We are doing everything we possibly can to get the passengers to Inverness as soon as possible. Apologies.”
He added that due to delays caused by the broken down vehicle , services 25, 26, and 27 are suffering delays of up to 25 minutes.
A Traffic Scotland spokesman said the bus was blocking one lane just after the bridge and traffic was queuing on approach.
