Police have appealed for help as they try to trace a missing woman last seen in the Highland capital.
Melissa Jane Spears, 31, was last spoken to on Wednesday and seen in the Anderson area of Inverness.
She has had no further contact with her friends or family and this has led to concerns being raised about her well being.
The 31-year-old is described as 5ft 5 in, medium build with shoulder length fair hair and she has a number of tattoos. When last seen she was wearing a dark blue hooded jacket with part red in the hood, a pair of dark trousers and trainers.
The public are urged to check their premises and any outbuildings for any person’s that may be using these facilities for shelter.
Police are increasingly concerned for Melissa welfare and safety and are urging anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact Police Scotland on 101.
