Firefighters battle property fire close to main Inverness road

Firefighters in Inverness are currently battling a fire at a property next to a main city road.

Three appliances were called to the wooden building in Glenurquhart Road at about 6pm.

A fire service spokesman said the building contains a vehicle and that crews are using hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

He added that no one has been hurt as a result of the fire.
