
Two members of local Inverness youth organisations have been awarded certificates from Donald Cameron of Lochiel, Lord Lieutenant for Inverness-shire.
Cadet Sergeant Shawn Feeney, 17, of the 1st Battalion The Highlanders Army Cadet Force, Inverness Company, and Leading Cadet Philip King, 17, of Inverness Sea Cadets were appointed the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadets of Inverness-shire.
Every year, each area’s respective Lord Lieutenant appoints several young people to serve as their Cadet.
These young people will act as ambassadors for their organisations and the young people of Inverness-shire.
