Door stewards ejected a drunk from an Inverness bar who then struggled violently with police as he was arrested in Academy Street, a court has heard
Marcus Capp, of Strathmore House, Inverness, was taken to the city’s Burnett Road Police Station on September 9 this year.
Fiscal Alison Young told Inverness Sheriff Court that the 25-year-old was still agitated and then spat at a custody officer.
Capp admitted threatening behaviour and assault. Sentence was deferred until January 8 for a background report.
