Heavy snow overnight is causing travel chaos in the north of Scotland this morning.
A jack-knifed lorry blocked the A9 southbound between the Inshes and Milton of Leys junctions, causing traffic to be backed up to the Kessock Bridge.
Traffic began passing through once again at around 8am but there were still serious delays at the Milton of Leys junction.
As of 8.40am, more than 20 schools are closed in the Highlands. In Moray, there are 14 closed.

Stagecoach buses are also experiencing delays this morning, as all of their buses were stuck in snowy conditions across the Highland capital earlier.
The A96 between Fochabers and Keith is now also closed southbound, with police advising drivers to avoid the northbound stretch as well.
