Train services running from the north and north-east to the central belt face being cancelled, delayed or revised due to flooding on the line.
Scotrail said the line between Gleneagles and Perth is currently closed due to flooding.
“Engineers from Network Rail will need to complete safety inspections before this route can reopen”, a tweet from the company said.
Disruption is expected to last until around 10:00 today.
A number of services have been affected so far including the 05:39am Aberdeen to Glasgow Queen Street which was terminated at Perth.
