
Police are hunting a robber who targeted a newsagents in the centre of Inverness this morning.
The incident at Greig Street Stores happened at around 10.10am.
Officers have not revealed whether a weapon was involved or what was taken in the raid.
It is understood that no one was injured.
The suspect is described as 5ft 8in. He was wearing a dark baseball cap with three distinctive white stripes on the brim, a grey hooded top and grey jogging bottoms.
A police spokesman said: “Investigations are at a very early stage and inquiries are ongoing at this time.”
