A teenager has been charged by police after a vehicle ended up in a river in the Isle of Lewis.
It is understood the Honda was travelling between Stornoway and Carloway on Tuesday when it left the road and entered the water.
The occupants in the car evacuated safely.
A police spokesman said: “We can confirm that a 15-year-old male youth has been charged with a number of road traffic offences in the Carloway area on Tuesday, 6 October.
“A report will be submitted to the relevant authorities in due course.”
